Squid Proxy Server
Squid is a high performance proxy server for web clients, supporting FTP, gopher, and HTTP data objects developed for Unix/Linux environments and now also available for Windows.

- ICP, HTCP, CARP, Cache Digests

- extensive access control rules

Squid is a "free open-source software" (Free Software) result of many contributions
